Daddy's Shaving Cream

Little Peanut made quite the mess with his oatmeal yesterday morning at breakfast. After cleaning him up and changing his clothes it was already a hardened mess! So, we decided to strip him down to his diaper again and grab Daddy's shaving cream. Do any of you remember cleaning your desk with shaving cream on the last day of school? Well, we thought he might have fun with it.

When Peanut realized what Daddy drew on the kitchen table he was ecstatic!



It took a little convincing him that we really were okay with him making a mess of it ;)
 
 
 
As you can see, he caught on quick enough! I just love how he had to smear it on his face like he has seen it on Daddy's!
 
 
 
Well, maybe he hasn't seen Daddy put it in his hair. hehe That was all Bubba!
 
 
 
 
 
So, what's the conclusion?
 
 
 
 
He went straight to the bathtub, but no need for more soap ;)

    Never cleaned with shaving cream, that's a new one for me! I hope it was a good smelling one...but knowing Kristofer I'm sure it was. Glad to see you let Nehemiah get 'messy' if he wants. :) Love it!

    Well, I don't let him get messy when he wants but i definitely try and give him some guided outlets ;)
    And, yes, the shaving cream smelled Awesome!

    Like Nona - the shaving cream/desk cleaning on the last day of school didn't happen when we were kids...but then, things do change with time. This shaving cream stint definitely grew on him as he progressed into the "task". It does look like he thoroughly enjoyed that one, and then he was ready for the bedtime thing!
