We're back! I know, I know, we are in some big trouble. & when I say 'we' YOU mean just 'me', right? Here it is: the long awaited Peanut update.

Worth the Battle!

I know, we have some angry grandparents out there due to a lack of pictures of the Peanut. I don't have much today, but I promise to post the Disneyland trip photos soon. They are almost ready to come up here, until then, this will have to hold you over.

Potty Training Update:

We are on week 2 of potty training and I think that he is doing great. It's a definite battle, but it is well worth the fight. He probably goes potty in his undies just about as much as the toilet, but he doesn't like it when he does go in his underwear -and that is good news. He gets a single Jellybean every time he goes to the potty by himself and 'tries'. If he actually goes potty in the toilet (& I mean a good one) he gets to pick 3 jellybeans! I realize that sounds like a lot of sugar for one guy in one day, but he has a good diet and that is the only artificial sugar item the kid gets. He loves sitting on his potty seat that sits over our toilet. It has a cool little button on the handle that makes a "Vroooooom" sound when he pushes it, with Disney Cars characters printed on the seat. He adores that part -quite obsessed actually!

I think that I am being trained in this process too. It's a new concept for me to remember to ask him about every 15min if he needs to go. Someone get this girl an egg timer! I'm thinkin a really cute R2-D2 egg timer, I think I'm onto something ;)

A Visit with Mimi and Papa

It has been since Christmas that Peanut has seen his Mimi and Papa and he was in Heaven! I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that they found the same destination ;)

 Peanut had been asking for them since early Feb but it really became a daily occurrence about 2 weeks ago. So, we asked mom and dad to come down for a weekend visit. It was a hard trip for mom, but I hear it was worth it! Peanut did not want to leave their side the entire weekend and was soaking up all of the love, hugs, kisses, and doting! Not to mention all the fun the 3 had with the Little People's Zoo!
The weekend zipped by and Sunday was here all too quickly. Peanut had to say goodbye to Mimi and Papa as we left for church in the morning and he cried until we got down the highway -10min! They decided to come to the church in between services to say goodbye again and we decided to snap some pictures of the 3 of them. 15 min of playful photography and they were gone again. On Tuesday we head off to California for 9 days and Bubba will complete his Grandparent Tour! We will see Nona, Aunt Jamie, Uncle Kieth and Aunt GG, Grandma and Grandpa Jennings, Aunt Kayla, Paga and Maga & the entire Fresno crew! We are so excited to see all of our family in California. It has been years for a lot of them and some are meeting Peanut for the very first time! Expect lots of wonderful pictures when we get back at the end of the month.



ps. Even Mommy got to sneak in a picture and a kiss with my bubs!!! Be still my heart!

A Park Date

You know what the best medicine for morning sickness is? Yeah ginger is amazing, but I would have to say a fun date with my men! Saturday evening we picked daddy up for his 'lunch' break and we had a park date! We had a blast and Nehemiah did NOT want to leave.

We waited in the PD parking lot for Daddy to walk out for a little while, so in the meantime we had some tickling fun. So much that Peanut decided to grab his own foot and tickle it! Hehe

Anyone who knows me knows that this next photo board TOTALLY claims my son as my mini me!

 

and of course on the way back to the car this little boy just HAD to plop down in the muddy puddle!

S-lacking!

Sorry for the lack of posts this week but that's what happens when you're growing a cute little sibling for peanut and morning sickness takes over! I really felt like The Little Train That Could this week, but both of my men were very sweet to me through it. Lets hope I either learn to cope with the sicki-ness and move on, or it lightens up a bit. I promise to get to snapping more photos of Peanut for you this week, or I'll make daddy do it! hehe

I did manage to get a quick snapshot of little bit in the nursery Wednesday night. Daddy dressed him, can you tell? hehe

A Valentine Package

Today we received Peanut's Valentines package in the mail from Paga and Maga (Grandpa and Grandma Mel in Fresno). Of course Mommy opened the box as soon as she got it. Bubba was still napping and so when he woke up I got to bring him his new friend. He LOVED it! He knows exactly who he is because Bubba watches Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on the computer with Mommy and Daddy all the time. -His new addiction!

It is so adorable to here him pronounce 'Pluto' hehe. He actually says it very clear!

And he even took out his beloved paci to give him a kiss ♥

Lunch with Daddy

Grabbing Daddy on his lunch break is one of our favorite things to do! We live 20 min away from the Police Dept so, Kristofer can't just come home for his code. We get to come into to town and steal him every once in a while and I just love how giddy both of these men get when this happens.
