Worth the Battle!

I know, we have some angry grandparents out there due to a lack of pictures of the Peanut. I don't have much today, but I promise to post the Disneyland trip photos soon. They are almost ready to come up here, until then, this will have to hold you over.

Potty Training Update:

We are on week 2 of potty training and I think that he is doing great. It's a definite battle, but it is well worth the fight. He probably goes potty in his undies just about as much as the toilet, but he doesn't like it when he does go in his underwear -and that is good news. He gets a single Jellybean every time he goes to the potty by himself and 'tries'. If he actually goes potty in the toilet (& I mean a good one) he gets to pick 3 jellybeans! I realize that sounds like a lot of sugar for one guy in one day, but he has a good diet and that is the only artificial sugar item the kid gets. He loves sitting on his potty seat that sits over our toilet. It has a cool little button on the handle that makes a "Vroooooom" sound when he pushes it, with Disney Cars characters printed on the seat. He adores that part -quite obsessed actually!

I think that I am being trained in this process too. It's a new concept for me to remember to ask him about every 15min if he needs to go. Someone get this girl an egg timer! I'm thinkin a really cute R2-D2 egg timer, I think I'm onto something ;)
